Our Games and Client Projects
We develop complete video games, and we also bring art, animation and technical direction to other studios’ projects. These are some of the titles and experiences we have worked on.
Our Games
Grandma Survivor
Pixel-art action and survival. A grandmother armed to the teeth holds off waves of neighbourhood zombies from her motorised wheelchair. Developed end to end in-house.
NoseBound
An interactive noir point-and-click adventure. Detective Ray Hammond takes on cases where film noir meets Lovecraftian horror. Developed end to end in-house.
Case Kovacs — Agent 228
A free mini-game and prequel to NoseBound, telling the story of Elizabeth Kovacs, the missing woman from the main game. Built in Unreal Engine and released on Steam in December 2020 by Plug In Digital.
Save the Pie!!
An Android arcade game released on Google Play in 2012. You had to help the bakery grandmother by smashing the bugs closing in on her pies — and every recipe in the game was real. Google Play delisted it years later for lack of updates.
Client Projects
We were not always the art provider: on several of these projects we led the development or the technical direction.
Miranda: A Steampunk VR Experience
An interactive opera in virtual reality for LUMA Projection Arts Festival and Tri-Cities Opera. We built the entire experience: art, animation and Unity programming. The festival ran our build live, with the singers in motion capture.
Neon District
A turn-based cyberpunk RPG by Blockade Games. We contributed 2D and 3D art within a team of artists and led the project’s technical direction: Unity integration, animation and visual effects. The studio cancelled the game before release.
Line of Defense
A multiplayer tactical shooter by 3000AD Inc. Four years in charge of the project’s art: characters, vehicles and environments. Released on Steam Early Access; development was discontinued later.
Decentraland
A virtual world platform. We modeled close to 100 3D assets for its ecosystem: structures, props and characters in a stylized low-poly look.
Age of Rust
A sci-fi action adventure by SpacePirate Games. We collaborated on technical direction: level optimization, lighting, animated holography shaders and specific assets. It is an independent project, still in development.
Pax Autocratica
A colony sim and FPS roguelite hybrid by Multiverse Inc. We took part in the early prototyping and MVP stage: we designed and modeled the Mar Sara level with Unity’s HDRP terrain tools. The project later raised investment and rebuilt its art with an in-house team.
Whumseys!
Soulcast, a British startup building a 3D platform for the metaverse. Two years as their art provider: we modeled the Whumseys — collectable creatures whose parts could be remixed with one another — and a full set of dungeon assets for a dungeon crawler. The game was cancelled before release.
2091
A virtual reality walkthrough of the interior of the Colonus ship, a replica of the set from 2091, the Fox science fiction series. We produced it for Morel VR as part of the show’s promotional campaign, exhibited in shopping malls. Rendered in Unreal Engine.
Building a game?
We can come in at any point in the project: from a single piece of art to delivering the finished game.
